Gospels

The four biblical documents which portray the life of the Lord Jesus Christ
are examined, including a study of the historical, cultural and political
background, and a brief consideration of the period between old and new
testaments. Each gospel is studied separately for its special characteristics
and perspectives, and themes common to the synoptic gospels are also
highlighted. Insights gained are applied to contemporary situations.
