Who are we?

Established specifically for the purpose of training and preparing Christians spiritually and emotionally for cross-cultural service, Eastwest College was started by WEC Aotearoa New Zealand in 1996.

Coming from many countries, including South Korea, Fiji, the Netherlands, Scotland, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Italy, China, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, England, Thailand, Taiwan, USA, South Africa and of course New Zealand, Eastwest is more than a place of academic training—it is a multi-cultural community which lives, works and studies together.

Eastwest College is founded on faith in God. The ground on which the college is built was donated by a local Christian farmer. It has grown to its present size as the college staff and its supporters have trusted the Lord without appealing for funds.
